if you have iOS, android, RIM, windows then forget those unli plans

globe and smart has this plan for prepaid and post paid, dont know with sun, you pay php99 good for 30days, 50mb consumable, the load expires which ever is used up first, the 50mb or the 30 days

viber does not eat that much of the 50mb if your a regular user, the app is free to download and its ad free

the only problem is it only works if both users has viber but in this times who among us does not have an android or iOS phones

matipid daw to compared to the regular load or unli loads, im still experimenting this so i cant really say, but for those who already tried this, feedbacks are needed

i use viber.maganda dyan,automatic ng nag add sa list mo yung may mga viber din sa phone book mo.

after 30 days of using my php99 power surf promo from globe, i didnt consume all my 50mb, i still have around 10mb left when my 30 days was done

i used viber, calling, almost everyday, about 30mins of calling the whole day, with some use on fb everynow and then

for me personally, i save on this setup compared to the unli promos

the only problem is, the signal of globe is very bad, not steady ang internet or 3g

iisa lang ayoko sa kaniya. It keeps on lurking and lurking even when you've shut it down and cleared it on the memory. Mamaya andun nanaman! I need to "force stop" to kill it completely.

of course though using this as an alternative sa casual methods of sms and calls ay matipid talaga kung 99 petot lang. Madali lang yun kung kunchabahin mo mag viber mga kasama mo...Ang isa pa problema nito eh lagas ang baterya mo since your phone will be in constant exchange of information over the net as if smart phone batteries weren't bad enough.

dapat kasi palaging running ang viber, i would defeat the purpose of free call and sms

correct batt ko more or less 1day nalang instead of 2-3days

viber is great =) hehe i love it ... dahil natatawagan/txt ko mga frends ko sa pinas or america or japan hehehe basta around the world heheh ... its great ...

And one of the good thing about Viber is it also works on GSM signal. Kahit walang 3G gumagana. Nakakapagsend parin ng picture albeit medyo mabagal na nga lang pero it's totally a big help sa bulsa. Laki ng natipid ko sa mga long distance calls

Medyo ilang ako, for some reason it defaults to speakerphone, and I end up having to lower down the volume.

So I bought a wired headset na lang, so that when I answer it won't be on speakerphone.

It was a LG Optimus T . Stock ROM. Android 2.3, unlocked via gingerbreak. Just bought a new phone oday to replace it. Samsung Galaxy Exhibit II

Anyways, I think it's not that uncommon.
