Mesyado silang maliliit no?

Most of the national players of Australia are plucked from the AIS pool of athletes. So it is safe to say that outside those players that are playing pro, the AIS team is where they will get the next group of players for the Men's NT Team A. Very physical game with the administrators, coaches and players of AIS not wanting to lose to an "unknown in world basketball" -- team Philippines. AIS is the "breeding ground" for Australia's Elite and World Class Athletes. So just like Gilas is to RP, the AIS basketball team will be Australia's future Olympians. GO Gilas! - Jim Saret (Smart Gilas' conditioning coach)

kailangan po nila magchampion in order to have a slot sa London Olympic. and it's a long shot. siguro sa RIO 2016 may pag-asa.

i beg to differ since european style yung sistema ni coach T.
yung aussie trip nila was nothing. hindi naman kasi quality opponents yung nakalaban nila. mas makikinabang sila sa serbian trip ngayon. i dont care kung matalo sila by 20+, pero for sure sagana naman sila sa experience after.
im a big fan of Gilas. pero mahirap abutin yung goal nila. face it. hindi lang Pilipinas ang nag-iimprove. pati rin ang ibang countries. hindi ako magugulat if ever they win the gold sa ASIAN GAMES. pero tignan natin sa FIBA Asia 2011. i doubt. 2014 WC or 2016 Olympics is more believable.
greggy boi is greatly improving. halatang halata ung improvement nya. pero can he defend the likes of yao o kaya si haddadi? im not saying that he cant. pero magandang abangan yan.
tiu, baracael, slaughter, japeth are shoo-in.
nakakabagot na yung paghahanap ng naturalization candidate.
just my two cents.

Kelly Williams may end up with Smart Gilas
Sta. Lucia Realty is willing to let go of prized forward Kelly Williams for the sake of national interest, according to team governor Buddy Encarnado as he confirmed talks are under way with Talk ‘N Text.
Williams’ services have been sought by the Smart-Gilas national team that is training for the Asian Games in November in China.
“While nobody turns his back for flag and country, we’re also thinking what about the interest of my team. We are amenable of loaning him, but if we lose Kelly, how can we be compensated if he leaves the team,” Encarnado said.
League sources said that Williams and versatile point guard Ryan Reyes will be traded for veterans Ali Peek and Nic Belasco. Talk ’N Text sophomore wingman Jared Dillinger is also being considered as another option in the trade.
Encarnado, however, won’t deny or confirm the report, the same position taken by TNT governor Ricky Vargas when queried about the issue.
“No I don’t want to comment on that. That’s his (Encarnado) prerogative what he wants to say,” Vargas said.
Encarnado clarified the only reason why they are amenable to giving up their 2006 top overall draft pick is for the 6-foot-8 Williams to help the Nationals mentored by Serbian Rajko Toroman.
Talk ‘N Text and Smart-Gilas are both owned by telecommunications mogul Manny V. Pangilinan, who is also the president of the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP).

Gilas lost to an All star team with 6 NBA draft prospects 108-99. Still a good game as we discovered filam prospect chris banchero, 6'1 PG. Banchero made 22p 6r 4a. Slaughter was great 25p 11r. Chris Lutz has agree to play for RP. He is coming in mid-May. - Noli Eala

Las Vegas Tour update

Game 2: NBA draftees selection def. SG, 109-99
Game 3: Impact All Stars (NBA draftees selection) def. SG, 108-99
Greg Slaughter - 25pts 11rebs, Chris Banchero - 22pts 6rebs 4asts
i dont know if 1 or 2 or how many of the top 10 NBA draft prospects suited up for "team nba draftees"
gregy boy is improving. japeth?
so i guess we wont call him "SLOWter" or "SLOATHer" anymore
