The London 2012 Olympics

I know its a bit too early, but July 27 is just around the corner. The 2012 summer games features 26 sports and a total of 39 disciplines. It will mark the first time women's boxing will be included with 40 athletes competing in five different weight classes. The IOC dropped baseball and softball for this edition of the games

In basketball, it will be a first time Great Britain will be fielding teams for both men and women's competition and FIBA allowed them automatic berths. Its nice to see a different African team representing their continent in the sport, and that is Tunisia.

I find it weird that most of the disciplines where Filipinos had world champions and world class athletes, are non-Olympic sports like billiards and bowling and yes, dragonboat.

we'll be sending 11 athletes for various disciplines and the number of officials will be almost thrice the number of participants

pero malabo madefend ng US ang gold medal for this olympics, very thin front line that may hardly bang with the world's best
