It’s said that they are having frequent fights these days, what with Angel busy shooting “Land Down Under” with Piolo Pascual and all the nasty rumors being bruited about her and her manager. But Luis quickly denied they’re broken up. He admitted they did experience some snags but it didn’t last very long. “Magkaroon man kami ng misunderstandings, hindi tumatagal,” he added. “We don’t let the sun set upon it at naaayos din agad. Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin movie Extracted by ross2 After the blockbuster success of “A Very Special Love” and “For the First Time,” Star Cinema is all set to show its next sure hit. The tentatively titled film, “Land Down Under,” is directed by critically acclaimed director Rory Quintos and stars “Lobo” pair Piolo Pascual and Angel Locsin The movie is dubbed as the only Philippine movie about cowboys, which is shot in Bukidnon and Subic in Philippines and Darwin in Australia. The movie will showcase the beauty of the world of finest cowboys and ranches in Bukidnon. The moviegoers will see the difference of the outback in Philippines and the outback in Australia. In the movie, Piolo and Angel play lovers. But then Angel goes to the northern territory of Australia where she becomes engaged to an Australian ranch owner. Piolo follows Angel in Australia and they continue their romance. After being paired in Lobo, the number one Primetime Teleserye, the onscreen partners will be shown in a different light as more adult. The fans will also see them do more action scenes, as their roles entail them to learn to ride a horse, lasso and catch cattle. Angel and Piolo have been trained in horseback riding under the guidance of known couturier and riding instructor Vittorio “Vic” Barba and Mikee Cojuangco in preparation for their roles. Because of the risky role, the main stars have been insured for the movie. At one time, Angel fell from the saddle and that's when she realized that she had a slipped disc all along. She also accidentally hit her left eye with a rope while galloping and had been hospitalized overnight. Ricky Davao also fell off the horse during the shooting. At the later part of the shooting in Bukidnon, Piolo and Angel have been declared official and adoptive children of Impasug-ong, which is a first class municipality in the northeastern part of Bukidnon and home to the Philippines only communal or government-owned ranch. The adoption ceremony involved a bonfire, native costumes, and chants performed by the datus or royalty of Bukidnon. Dimples Romana, AJ Dee, Erich Gon-zales, Nash Aguas, John Manalo and Ricky Davao are also in the movie. By: Vinia Vivar Jampacked ang 10th anniversary fashion show ng Folded & Hung last Thursday night sa A-Venue, Makati City, kung saan ay rumampa ang mga endorser nito sa pangunguna nina Claudine Barretto at Maja Salvador. Sayang at wala si Angel Locsin, isa sa main endorsers along with Claudine and Maja, dahil may shooting ng Land Down Under movie nila ni Piolo Pascual sa Star Cinema. Pero ipinakita ang VTR ng young actress sa opening, na pinalakpakan at nagnakaw ng atensyon. Finale si Claudine sa fashion show with matching confetti at fireworks. Habang rumarampa siya, namataan namin si John Estrada (with Brazilian girlfriend Priscilla Meirelles) na nagbigay ng standing ovation sa young actress habang panay ang palakpak. Ang pagdalo at pagsuporta ni John sa fashion show ay indikasyon na nakikipag-ayos na ang aktor kaugnay ng nangyaring kontrobersiya sa kanila ng utol ni Claudine, si Gretchen, last year. Sigawan din ang tao nang sabay na rumampa ang magkarelasyong Mylene Dizon at Paolo Paraiso. Super applauded din si Maja, na lumabas mula sa isang boxed glass na ni-lift mula sa ibaba. Rumampa rin si Phoemela Barranda, na hindi namin agad nakilala dahil sa make-up. Ang dami rin palang supporters ang eventologist na si Tim Yap, na sa tuwing rumarampa, sigawan din ang audience.
