I'm currently residing here in the metro so I guess you can figure out what are the modern spots into. Some of the best spot here are, Manila Ocean Park and Intramuros. That’s for me

Isdaan Restaurant in Calauan, Laguna - this is more than just a restaurant. It is hard to describe but I'm willing to bet that if you go there you will thank me for it.
Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Batangas - extremely beautiful, extremely clean, extremely classy resort...service is excellent too. Unfortunately, this place is for residents and members only. This community/resort looks like a small community in the U.S. If you know anyone who lives or works there or a member of the community, I recommend going there and splurge a little. They have a restaurant there too. They also have a hotel overlooking the bay.
Hundred Islands in Alaminos, Pangasinan - white sands, great for swimming, para-sailing, snorkeling, scuba diving, kayaking and island hopping. There are hotels and furnished homes for rent in Lucap where you get on boats that will ferry you to the different islands.
Puerto del Sol in Bolinao, Pangasinan - beautiful resort, white sands. You can just go in, snap pictures and eat there because they do not charge visitors to enter. Don't expect "provincial prices" here. Cheap is not a word I would use to describe their restaurant prices...hehe
Patar Beach in Bolinao, Pangasinan - this is not too far from Puerto del Sol. It is cheaper to go here and just rent a cabana then leave. Best day to go to Bolinao is on either Tuesday or Saturday because these are their market or tiangge days. You will also find cheap produce and seafoods priced like the veggies in Baguio. A pile of veggies also cost P10 only. Don't forget to buy BINUNGEY in front of the church or right across from the municipio. It's a local delicacy.
Resorts World near the airport - they have lots of restaurants, cinemas inside the mall and they also have a casino there.
Camp John Hay in Baguio - activities you can do here includes imported products shopping, dining, and playing golf. From here you can go to the public market and do your veggie and fruit shopping. The veggies sold just outside the market are so shockingly cheap. We were just there. A pile of broccolis (about 5 heads) cost only P10! Same with a pile of grape tomatoes, a pile of cauliflower, a pile of zucchinis, a pile of cucumbers, a pile of regular tomatoes, a pile of radishes, etc. We bought a lot of veggies and strawberries (and other delicacies) there.
Manila Seedling Bank at the corner of EDSA and Quezon Ave - it is a "green enclave". By that I mean it is a big compound where they sell plants (some of them very exotic and rare), fruiting trees, orchids, shrubs, bushes, herbs, seeds, seedlings, garden supplies, pots, soil, sands, mulches, garden decors, fertilizers, and even China (as in plates). It is a little known gem of Quezon City.
There's a new mall along Aurora Blvd in QC where Magnolia House used to be. The mall is called Robinson's Magnolia Mall. They built a small Magnolia Ice Cream House just outside the mall but within the mall compound. They just opened it a few days ago. They still need to fill up many of the stalls. When we went to Tarlac, we also saw their SM Mall there and there's a relatively new Ayala Mall in Angeles, Pampanga. I think it is called Marquee. It opened in 2009 if I remember right. It was my first time to visit the Rockwell Power Plant Mall. It is a beautiful mall. Many restaurants to choose from for a quick bite.
They also did a good job developing Subic. We were just there a couple of months ago. The city is not too shabby. It looks like a small town in the U.S. Gone are the many sleazy bars with scantily clad working girls you used to see around the base. They have a nice new hospital there. And there's even a Yacht Club there comparable to the Yacht Club in Chicago and some California coastal communities. There are several malls there now too. SM just opened one. They also have duty-free shops (no membership required) there and I think you can either pay in dollars or in pesos, your choice, but don't quote me on that. Ask the store people to be sure. What's bad is the beach resorts charge visitors a lot to enter their facilities but they are nothing like Puerto del Sol or Punta Fuego which are classy-looking. Ang bakya ng dating ng mga resorts sa Subic.
Guimaras Island (Alubihod) - if you want R&R then this is a good place. It's not as crowded as Boracay and not as expensive.
San Benito Farm (Lipa, Batangas) - wellness facility - if you're into Nurture Spa in Tagaytay then try San Benito Farm
Sonya's Garden (Buck Estate, Tagaytay) - for a detoxifying lunch/dinner and spa treatments
Island Cove (Tanza, Cavite) & Caylabe Beach Resort (Cavite)
ang ganda ng pics, affordable ba ang rates?

Not as expensive as Boracay.
Ortiz Wharf (Iloilo) to Guimaras Island (Jordan Wharf) specifically Alubihod kasi daming pwedeng puntahan in Guimaras Island - 15 pesos fare outrigger boat (less than 30 minutes).
Jordan Wharf to any beach you like it Guimaras - we chose San Miguel Alubihod - 400pesos for a private ride pero pwede din to commute if kabisado mo na.
We stayed at Raymen - their hotel cost 2000 but may mga nipa huts sila na mas cheaper.
Mejo matagal na din ako dito sa Cebu pero wala ako balak itry yan sa Crown Regency... Tingin ko mahihimatay ako pag sinubukan ko yan... Tinitingnan ko palang photos parang sumasakit na tiyan ko...
We were just in Taal Vista for lunch. It looks so much different than the way it was. It is much bigger now and looks more upscale. They have buffet lunch. We also went to Splendido Resort and Golf and Country Club which I heard is owned by Enrile. I hope I'm not being libelous by saying that. From there we proceeded to Rizal Shrine in Calamba, Laguna. Rizal's home was big. Entrance is free but you can drop your donations in the kitty box provided near the door. All of these places are worth going to.
Sa Cagayan de Oro, aside from white water rafting, may mga natural attractions kami na sobrang mura lang puntahan. Number one is Mintugsok Falls sa Indahag. Thirty pesos lang ang fare to Indahag tapos pagdating dun, you can hike to the water falls. Simple. Mura. Maganda.

i think my cousins went there, maganda naman feedback nila
