I agree with Hersmile.
I used to live in Vancouver for a few years until I got my citizenship and I totally agree that it is hard to find an IT job (or any other job) in Canada.
Back here in the US, although unemployment is at its peak and getting a job is getting harder, IMO, it is more challenging to find a job in Canada.
I applied as an independent immigrant in Canada after college (1997) and the only requirement is basically a college degree and 1 year professional experience.
I was lucky enough to move there during my early 20's but finding a job back then was very tough. Do you have any certifications?
